I made it through the holidays and all is well. New years morning, I awoke to about 200 people singing at my door. It was annoying and beautiful. I will write more later but I did want to say that facebook hasn’t been working very well lately and I would really like to just use this and e-mail if possible. Any takers? I love and miss everyone, hope the holidays were wonderful. Oh Granny, I got your package, thank you soo much! Especially the wet ones, brilliant. But mostly the picture, I was just lamenting the fact that I didn’t have any good pictures of family to show my friends in the village. The timer is flashing at me. Will write again soon!

I got your text message and tried to get online but did not know which avenue to use. Were you on Windows Messenger or AIM or Facebook. I guess we need to have a better plan. Your mom gave me your address and I have read some of your entries. Brings back memories…Did you get to read the article Matt did on my experience in Afghanistan? You never know when these experiences will come in handy. It seems they have changed things a little bit. Living with an in country family is a nice touch. I bet you learn the language faster. At lest French is something you might actually use again, whereas Farcy was not very usable. Will write again soon. Hope I did this right!!! Keep the faith. Sid
